Kitchenaid Mixer Recipes
Using a mixer to make cookies?
I can make cookies a few days for my family, it goes without saying that doing tons batches. For Christmas, I received a KitchenAid stand mixer and each batch of cookies I made with it have been clearer and less tender when you use a blender or mix by hand. I use the same recipe I always use. Is there any reason using stand mixer to make cookies less sweet?
You may be overworking the dough. Since you have a drummer who could be the ingredients in the bowl and do something else now that you do not have foreseen. I use a KitchenAid well. I can measure all the ingredients of my time with containers and ready to use. Once everything is measured to begin mixing. I can mix only as needed. Firing hundreds of cookies for Christmas and I have no problem with the texture. I love my mixer and I do not know what without it. Good luck.

Stand Hand Mixer
hand mixers and stand mixers ...?
Can I use a hand mixer to make whipped cream or opposition chocolate ganache in a mixer stand??
Yes, you can do these things with a hand mixer with the highest speed at the same time you have no problem with weak wrists. That's why you might need a drummer. The most powerful mixer, more time to whip the cream. 300-350 watts is not the norm, even for a drummer. A hand mixer with the same power would be better. Make sure the beaters and mixing bowl to cool - Put in freezer until use.

Difference in Kitchen Aid Mixer attachments?
Hello,
I'm looking to buy a 5qt kitchenaid mixer and have noticed that on the bed bath and beyond site the paddle and dough hook attachment look like they're made of metal. On all other sites and stores I find them to be a white ceramic type of product. Can other people verify this difference and does it make a difference what it's made of?
Yes, I have used both kinds but usually on the 5qt. you get the white ones. The metal ones are usually on the bigger mixers. I have not noticed any difference in using the two. They both do a very good job. Both types are metal but the white ones have some sort of coating on them. Don't worry it doesn't come off.

What is the best device to make the pasta dough?
I have 3 devices with a mass of dough (well, four if you account in the hands.) I have a standing mixer with a dough hook, a robot with a dough hook, and a bread machine with an adjustment mass. I want less cleaning easier or rather what is fair. What did you use? In addition, wheat flour or flour to help? Don 't ever tried grain, but it wants.
I have all four well, and I prefer to use my hands. Make the dough is too simple and fast, and I prefer not to have a clean machine. Just clean the counter where it is mixed and kneaded, and wash your hands) You also feeling the texture of the dough when mixed by hand. I hope this helps;) **** **** Update Regarding the second part of your question, I lost, I use wheat flour, wheat flour, and love to add different flavors, such as spinach, tomatoes, or herbs. I'm not sure if I've never tried couscous, but probably a lot of time ~ the bread from the baker that we have much the Office of choice.

What is the difference between the different Kitchenaid stand mixer models?
I recently got a kitchenaid classic plus stand mixer (It is the cheapest one out on the market and is only available in white). I am happy with it so far, but I am wondering how this particular model will last in the long run. Does the wattage really make that much of a difference? Will my model last as long or as well as the more expensive or premium models?
For a stand mixer - wattage equals power.
Higher wattage motors will be able to mix stiffer batters and doughs. There is a regulator in the Kitchenades that keeps the beater moving at a constant speed no matter how stiff your batter is - this makes the motor work harder.
It would be pretty difficult to get a mixer motor to burn out with normal kitchen use - but I have heard of it happening in commercial kitchens.
