What should I make first with my new KitchenAid Mixer?

I'm getting a Kitchenaid this week for an early Christmas gift. It's the Professional 600 model and It's coming with a pasta maker. I need to make something I couldn't make without a mixer! Give me some good ideas :]

Well use it to mix anything you wish , but start with some egg whites into meringue or cream into whip cream on high with the whip and you will just fall in love with it . Oh and add a little bourbon to the cream when whipping , delicious on top those pies .

Kitchenaid Mixer Attachments Grinder

Just bought a Kitchenaid pro 600 mixer, tell me what you know about it and any mixer hints and tips or recipes?

I bought the slicer/shredder attachment, the hard to find 3 qt. bowl with whisk attachment (because a 6 qt. bowl won't be needed every time), it comes with the flat paddle, a dough hook and pouring shield. What do you think of the pasta roller? Should I get the mean grinder and the pasta attachments with that or the pasta roller? I don't need the sausage stuffer, but what other attachments would be handy? Thanks in advance!
Well the meat grinder actually would be used for making baby food, not grinding meat. But I know what you mean.

If you enjoy making homemade pasta then absolutely buy the pasta roller. I have it and use it all the time and it works great. The roller also comes with a spaghetti and fettuccine maker as well. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it. For me personally I wouldn't bother with the meat grinder but if you think you would use it I find all the Kitchen Aid attachments very good.

Reflections on attachments to the kitchen aid Professional Plus 5 quarts. stand mixer.?

I was dizzy during this mixer, I just ordered. Has anyone used one of the optional accessories such as juicer pasta machine, cream maker ice, etc. and what you're thinking of the mixer and the attachment?

The Pro Plus will work with the accessories, but I give a thumbs down attach to grinding. the engine runs at 325 watts until exchanged model 600, there is nothing like having the juice if necessary. Pro Plus is a great machine, do not get me wrong, but then returned to using a hammer to put in a tack
