stand mixer or hand mixer questions ...?
1. Why so expensive stand mixers? Is there a decent price that do a good job? 2. What is the difference between using a hand mixer and a stand mixer in the kitchen? Can I use the hand blender (if a recipe calls for mixing up to) change the consistency of a cake, pastry, etc.? I noticed in particular frosting / ice will liquidy for me because everything I have and use a hand blender.
Spending money and get a stand mixer Wizard cooking, it will last the rest of their lives and their children, there are many accessories available and there is nothing better on the market ... A blender you will keep hands free for other things and not have to babysit.
